History of Denny & Witt

1927 – W.R. Denny and staff of Denny & Witt General Mercantile Store in Moody, Texas

“If Denny and Witt didn’t sell it, you didn’t need it!”

Started by Mr. W.R. Denny and Mr. Sam Witt in the central Texas town of Moody, Denny and Witt served many needs of its local community to include hardware, farm machinery, furniture, auto parts and supplies, dry goods, groceries and wholesale grain and cotton.

Yes, General Merchandise pretty much covered it all.

Today, in the same spirit of Mr. Denny and Mr. Witt that the current company  is involved in many lines of business to include the purchase and resale of excess Inventory, Industrial and Mechanical Salvage, Machinery supplies, Business Liquidations and Investment Real Estate.

Today, General Merchandise still pretty much covers it all.
